Sealift’s clients consist of exporters, traders, project contractors and
brokers.
Business is undertaken in various forms:

under fixed volume contracts

under contracts for a fixed duration based on a
particular trade

under contract for particular projects
-
under no contract terms but with very close
clients where all business is quoted (however difficult it may be)
at the best terms achievable with brokers and traders on both
forward basis where a freight cover is required or on a spot basis
where the right ship or the best combination cargo is required
Over
the years Sealift has evolved from its origin as a pure liner operator
with steel and general cargoes to being one of the most rapidly
expanding players in the handy sized bulk trades.
The company's client base, until recently predominantly European, is
being expanded internationally and particularly in South America, the
United States, Asia and Africa.
All kinds of dry bulk cargoes are carried on Sealift vessels however
fertilizers, alumina, other minerals, petcoke, cement and scrap are the
cargoes most frequently contracted for carriage in our vessels.
While most cargoes are carried on a full cargo basis, our experience in
the liner trades enables us to combine all sorts of part cargoes. This
extends also to the bulk trades where smaller cargoes are fixed on an
exclusive hold basis.
